3D Pumpkin, Snowman, and Winter Designs
I created a 3D pumpkin in my NYU Print3D Jack-o-Lantern Workshop for Halloween using Autodesk Fusion 360.
I used Autodesk Fusion 360 to create a form, edit the t-spines, changed the structure's size, filled the gaps, hollowed it, and then sketched a face. I saved it as an obj file; let's it 3D print. I then used sketchbook to color the structure; I chose Yam as the best option for this design. I was able to test colors by downloading the original obj file into a png; I wanted to preview colors before printing. The printing was unsuccessful but I plan to edit and try again.
I also used tinkercad to create and 3D print my snowman design. I later used this design in my Creative Coding course--adding it to my winter final project as decor.
For my final project, I used p5.js to create a 2D and 3D environment; combing technology with physical components--such as paper snow falling in the background and digital snowflakes swirling or falling as well. This also simulated real life snow fall. The concept was finalized with traditional and modern Christmas music; featured in the presentation below.
NYU Future Fashion Group - Office of Sustainability

In June 16, 2022 I recommended a sustainable fashion show at NYU; partnered with the Future Fashion Group (FFG). The show took place on Thursday, March 23, 2023. Here are my designs. This image was made to highlight both upcycled and recycled material. Fitting the scrapped outfit in black and the nature theme of a peacock; for a set/ three looks.

I chose the sustainable: upcycle, scraps, and nature inspired track. This image highlights upcycled material made to mimic a peacock.

I created these 2D digital art pieces for an upcycle fashion show.; a concept I brought up to the NYU Future Fashion Group and Office of Sustainability.
This idea of a sustainable fashion show came from my high school. At New Design High School, we would host a yearly upcycle fashion show to showcased our recycled and innovative pieces. One of my old pieces won Judge's Choice--it was a floor lengthen gown with a halter top created from recycled white paper. Each piece of paper was cut into a unique snowflake.
My teammate, Jennifer Yu, helped me cut and tape each piece. Other students gave us black carboard horns to create a winter theme.
For NYU's Up-Cycle Fashion Show, I drew three pieces as a collection to be featured on the runway. I used small elements to bridge each section together--from roses to peacocks representing nature to dark elements of recycled fabric for the final urbanized look. This collection highlights nature within our urban city; showcasing how we can utilize more nature in our environment.
All of my digital illustrations were drawn by hand or via stylist on my cell phone; Sketchbook software.
SPS Humanities Festival & Program Board - Strawberry Festival 2022
Sketch Book: 2D Digital Illustrations
I designed these pieces specifically for the Humanities and Strawberry Festivals in 2022. These designs were selected from hundreds of submissions--to be featured in their upcoming publications, on in-person monitors, and in social media publications. I had creative freedom in what I could design, and I wanted to create something unique--I decided abstract and silhouettes were a good theme. Both, The NYU SPS Humanities Festival and NYU Program Board: Strawberry Festival, featured these designs at their one-day event.
During this timeframe, I also taught students about rendering, color composition, line weight, and other drawing concepts within NYU SAAS.

Digital Illustrations, Sketches, and Art Designs

Every piece was created on my phone, either through using a stylist or my hands. Some of the art pieces were inspired by books, movies, or musical artists. The top image on the left was created and inspired by two characters from the band Gorillaz; combining them into one. Other images came for my imagination to test new techniques and push my skills/ imagination.
The next few slides show experimenting techniques from strawberry lizard monsters (line weight, color contrast, art style mimicking, life design cycles, fan requests, art challenges, self-image drawings, perspective drawing, and more). I wanted to test various art techniques, challenge my own creativity, and explore new artistic endeavors.
On the third slide, the silhouette of a father and daughter, someone falling from the stars, and a cat (fourth slide) have also been featured in other festivals/ contests I took part in.
I want to continue expanding and trying new things.
