Solar-Powered Vehicle

Inspiration - Classic Models paired with New Tools and Technologies

The idea is creating old classic styles with a blend of high tech modern luxury. My goal is to create a 100% sustainable vehicle that can survive extreme temperatures while keeping it's interior cool. The design element is an aesthetic most would enjoy.

I am interested in developing a vehicle exterior made of solar-panels, connected to a power generator, and paired with an advanced software system that prioritizes information systems, cybersecurity, and hardware. I am interested in exploring airless tires as well. However, a hybrid solution is more plausible during a demo phase/

I want to combine legacy with sustainable innovation to reduce carbon emissions while meeting user needs in hot climates like Arizona. Moreover, I want to develop a system that cannot be remotely hacked or digitally altered (copied fobs).

Individual Work

Blender 4.3

I began teaching myself the latest Blender update to begin modeling the car; beginner. Here is a quick view of the 3D modeled car.

I have quickly learned mirroring, shortcut keys, and reference imaging to model the type of design I hope to create. Duration of this design has been over two days, but the actual editing process has been less than nine hours all together.

Willing to Explore & Collaborate

I am willing to look into and learn Maya to better fit my project needs.

I plan to create blueprint sketches and various other designs through software like Sketch and Krita. I am open to working on this project with others.

Willing to Explore & Collaborate

This project and sketches have not started. Other students have expressed interest in collaborating.

Ideally, this project will begin in Spring 2026.
